B & J Bookbinding specializes in top quality hard binding, featuring basic binding, library standard, and  our special custom binding. This is a relatively inexpensive way to give your work the credit it deserves.


Below you will find information on our binding processes and fees.

 BINDING PROCESS
<> All books are sewn and hard bound.
<> Basic Binding square back. Recommended for books up to 1 inch thick.
<> Library Standard rounded back. Recommended for books over 1 inch thick.
<> Custom Binding: rounded back, speckled edges, and gold bars stamped at the
xxtop and bottom of the spine.
<> Book cloth is all top quality material. Choose from our optima buckram or our fine
xximitation leathers. Color choices are black, navy blue, green, red, bright blue and burgandy.
<> Lettering is charged separately, per line. Gold foil is used for all lettering. Titles are
xxtaken directly from the title page and are stamped as they appear. No italics are used.
<> Upper/Lower case is substituted for italics. 18 point News Gothic is the typestyle.
xxTitles are stamped in all capital letters.
<> Customer must supply year and degree. Customer is responsible for page order,
xxwe do not check them.
<> Please supply fly leafs for both front and back of all copies.
